WiiM Amp Ultra

The WiiM Amp Ultra is WiiM’s flagship network streaming integrated amplifier, combining powerful stereo amplification, high-resolution music streaming, advanced room correction and a full-colour touchscreen within a compact aluminium chassis. Designed for premium HiFi, TV audio and smart home music systems, it delivers significantly more power than the WiiM Amp and Amp Pro while retaining the simplicity of an all-in-one system – simply add a pair of passive speakers.

At its heart are dual Texas Instruments TPA3255 Class D amplifier chips, delivering 100W per channel into 8 Ohms or 200W per channel into 4 Ohms. WiiM’s Post Filter Feedback (PFFB) technology helps maintain consistent performance across different speaker loads, while an ESS ES9039Q2M SABRE DAC and six TI OPA1612 op-amps provide the high-quality digital-to-analogue conversion and analogue circuitry required for more demanding HiFi systems. Advanced thermal management using a copper heat pipe, aluminium heatsink and PID temperature control helps maintain reliable performance during extended listening.

A 3.5-inch glass-covered touchscreen gives the Amp Ultra a more intuitive interface than WiiM’s smaller streaming amplifiers, displaying album artwork, playback information, VU meters and source controls directly on the unit. Built-in RoomFit™ room correction automatically analyses the listening environment and adjusts playback to better suit the room, while extensive EQ controls include 24 presets plus 10-band graphic and parametric equalisation with individual settings for different inputs.

For music and entertainment, the WiiM Amp Ultra supports services including Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz and Amazon Music alongside Spotify Connect, Chromecast, Alexa Cast, Roon Ready and DLNA. HDMI ARC with Dolby Digital support makes it suitable for improving TV sound, while RCA, optical and USB connectivity accommodate additional sources. A dedicated mono subwoofer output with adjustable crossover control also makes it straightforward to build a powerful 2.1-channel HiFi or TV system, while WiiM multi-room functionality allows the Amp Ultra to integrate with compatible WiiM products throughout the home.
