Sonos Play Bluetooth and WiFi Speaker

The Sonos Play is a powerful portable Bluetooth and WiFi speaker designed to deliver rich stereo sound at home and on the go. Combining up to 24 hours of battery life, an IP67 waterproof and dustproof design, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and Automatic Trueplay, Sonos Play brings the Sonos listening experience to virtually anywhere you want to listen.

Inside, Sonos Play features three Class-H digital amplifiers, two angled tweeters and a dedicated mid-woofer. The two tweeters are positioned to produce clear high frequencies and genuine stereo separation from a single portable speaker, while the mid-woofer handles vocals, midrange frequencies and deep bass.

At home, Sonos Play connects to your Sonos multi-room system over WiFi, allowing it to work alongside other compatible Sonos speakers throughout the house. Take it outside and Bluetooth provides straightforward wireless streaming from compatible phones, tablets and other devices. Multiple Sonos Play speakers can also be grouped over Bluetooth for bigger sound away from your home WiFi network.

Automatic Trueplay continuously adjusts the speaker's sound according to its surroundings and the content being played. This means Sonos Play can optimise its performance as you move it between different rooms or take it outside, without requiring manual Trueplay tuning.

Built for portable listening, Sonos Play is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance and can withstand submersion in up to one metre of water for up to 30 minutes. Its durable, drop-resistant construction makes it suitable for gardens, holidays, outdoor spaces and everyday use around the home.

The built-in 4800mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 24 hours of continuous playback. Sonos Play also includes its own Charging Base, so it can remain charged and ready while being used around the home. The battery is replaceable, helping extend the usable life of the speaker.

USB-C connectivity adds further flexibility. Sonos Play can provide power to a compatible phone while you're away from a socket and supports optional line-in connectivity using the Sonos Line-In Adapter. Apple users can also stream directly using Apple AirPlay 2, while voice control, physical button controls and the Sonos app provide multiple ways to control playback.

Whether used as a portable Bluetooth speaker, part of a Sonos multi-room music system or as a flexible speaker that moves between indoor and outdoor spaces, Sonos Play combines powerful stereo sound with long battery life and durable portable design.
