Pro-Ject T2 W Turntable

The Pro-Ject T2 W is a premium Wi-Fi turntable that combines traditional HiFi vinyl playback with modern network streaming. Built around Pro-Ject’s proven T2 platform, it allows records to be played through a conventional HiFi system or streamed over your home network to compatible UPnP-enabled streamers, amplifiers, AV receivers and wireless speakers. It is an ideal choice for vinyl listeners who want genuine turntable performance with the flexibility of a modern multi-room audio system.

The T2 W features a precision sub-platter belt-drive system, electronic switching between 33 and 45 RPM and a substantial 10mm-thick, 1.7kg glass platter. Its stainless-steel and brass main bearing, electronically regulated motor and resonance-resistant plinth provide a stable foundation for accurate vinyl playback, while isolating feet help minimise unwanted vibration.

A 9-inch one-piece aluminium tonearm uses a low-friction gimbal bearing and spring-loaded anti-skating system for accurate tracking. Pro-Ject factory-fits the T2 W with a Sumiko Rainier moving-magnet cartridge and elliptical diamond stylus, with tracking force and anti-skating pre-adjusted for straightforward setup. A high-quality dual-stage, split-passive MM phono pre-amplifier is also built in, providing a line-level output for direct connection to compatible HiFi equipment.

What sets the Pro-Ject T2 W apart is its integrated Wi-Fi and Ethernet network connectivity. Vinyl can be streamed using UPnP, with support for a lossless stream at up to 24-bit/48kHz, while multi-room capability allows records to be distributed to compatible audio systems around the home. Streaming features are managed through the Pro-Ject Control app, making the T2 W a particularly versatile solution for combining a vinyl collection with a modern connected HiFi or multi-room system.
