Primare CD35 CD Player

The Primare CD35 is a high-performance CD player designed for premium stereo HiFi systems, combining a dedicated TEAC disc mechanism with an ESS Sabre digital-to-analogue converter and both balanced and unbalanced analogue outputs. Built within Primare's full-width 35 Series chassis, it provides a dedicated solution for listeners looking to get the best from a physical CD collection.

At the heart of the CD35 is the TEAC CD-5020A-AT CD transport mechanism, partnered with an ESS Sabre ES9028PRO DAC. This allows the CD35 to perform the complete digital-to-analogue conversion internally, unlike a dedicated CD transport, and connect directly to an integrated amplifier or stereo preamplifier.

Both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs are provided, allowing the CD35 to integrate with a wide range of premium HiFi systems. A coaxial RCA and optical Toslink digital output are also available, giving owners the option of bypassing the internal DAC and connecting the CD35 to an external digital-to-analogue converter or compatible digital amplifier.

The CD35 is a natural partner for Primare's I35 integrated amplifier and PRE35 preamplifier, with RS232, IR and 12V trigger connectivity provided for system integration. Supplied with Primare's C25 system remote control, the Primare CD35 combines dedicated CD playback, high-quality digital conversion and flexible analogue and digital connectivity in a refined stereo source component.
