KEF Kube 8 MIE Subwoofer

The KEF Kube 8 MIE is a compact 8-inch active subwoofer designed to deliver deep, controlled and powerful bass for HiFi, home cinema, TV, music and gaming systems. As the most compact model in KEF's Kube MIE range, it is particularly well suited to smaller rooms and living spaces, providing substantial low-frequency performance without requiring the space of a larger subwoofer.

At the heart of the Kube 8 MIE is a front-firing 200mm (8-inch) long-throw driver, engineered with a large cone area and high excursion to produce strong, controlled low-frequency output. The driver is powered by an efficient 300W RMS Class D amplifier, providing the power and control required to reproduce bass with impact while maintaining accuracy across music and movie soundtracks.

KEF's Music Integrity Engine® (MIE) uses proprietary Digital Signal Processing algorithms to optimise how the subwoofer's components work together. Integrated iBX Intelligent Bass Extension dynamically extends bass depth while maintaining precision at different listening levels. A sealed cabinet design further supports controlled bass reproduction while providing greater flexibility when positioning the Kube 8 MIE within a room.

Designed for straightforward integration with a wide range of audio systems, the KEF Kube 8 MIE features RCA and speaker-level inputs alongside KEF SmartConnect. Three selectable Room Position EQ presets help optimise performance depending on where the subwoofer is positioned, while compatibility with the optional KEF KW1 Wireless Subwoofer Adapter Kit provides additional placement freedom. Whether adding low-frequency depth to a stereo HiFi system or enhancing movies and gaming in a home cinema, the Kube 8 MIE provides powerful KEF bass performance in a compact package.
