KEF Ci200QL In-Wall Speaker

The KEF Ci200QL is a high-performance 8-inch rectangular in-wall architectural speaker designed to deliver powerful, detailed sound while remaining discreet within the room. Part of KEF’s Ci-Q Series, it combines a large Uni-Q® driver array with an Ultra Thin Bezel (UTB™) design, making it an excellent choice for whole-home audio, premium HiFi and custom home cinema installations.

At the heart of the Ci200QL is KEF’s 200mm (8-inch) Uni-Q® driver array, which positions the 25mm (1-inch) tweeter at the acoustic centre of the bass/midrange driver. This allows the speaker to behave more like a single point source, distributing sound widely and evenly throughout the listening space. Its 115° nominal coverage helps create consistent performance across a broad seating area, reducing the need for every speaker to be aimed directly towards a single listening position.

The larger 200mm driver gives the Ci200QL impressive low-frequency capability for an architectural speaker, with an open-backed frequency response extending down to 35Hz. With 90dB sensitivity, maximum output of 107dB and recommended amplifier power of 10–150W, it provides the scale and dynamic capability required for more demanding music and movie systems while maintaining the clean appearance of an integrated installation.

The KEF Ci200QL is particularly well suited to premium in-wall stereo systems and custom home cinemas, where it can be used for front, surround or distributed audio channels. Its paintable magnetic grille and minimal visible bezel allow it to blend naturally into an interior, while optional KEF rough-in frames and rear enclosures provide additional flexibility for professional new-build and renovation projects.
