KEF Ci130QR In-Ceiling Speaker

The KEF Ci130QR is a compact round in-ceiling architectural speaker designed to deliver detailed, room-filling sound while remaining discreet once installed. Part of KEF’s Ci-Q Series, it is ideal for whole-home audio, multi-room music and home cinema installations, combining KEF’s signature Uni-Q® technology with an Ultra Thin Bezel design that integrates neatly into the ceiling.

At the heart of the Ci130QR is KEF’s 130mm (5.25-inch) Uni-Q® driver array, which positions the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the bass/midrange driver. This allows the drivers to operate more like a single point source, distributing sound widely and evenly throughout the room. The result is a broader listening area with consistent clarity, making the Ci130QR particularly effective in spaces where listeners may be positioned throughout the room rather than in one dedicated seating position.

Its 19mm aluminium dome tweeter with Tangerine Waveguide helps improve high-frequency dispersion, while the open-backed design allows the speaker to make effective use of the available ceiling cavity. KEF’s Ultra Thin Bezel (UTB™) keeps the visible edge around the speaker grille to a minimum, creating a clean and unobtrusive finish that works well in modern residential and custom installation projects.

Compact dimensions and a relatively shallow installation depth make the KEF Ci130QR a versatile choice where ceiling space is limited.
