Emotiva BasX A2L+ Power Amplifier

The Emotiva BasX A2L+ is a compact 2-channel stereo power amplifier designed to deliver high-quality Class A/B amplification for HiFi systems, secondary listening zones and home cinema applications. Delivering 50W per channel into 8 Ohms and 90W per channel into 4 Ohms, the A2L+ provides clean, controlled power in a smaller chassis than Emotiva's higher-output BasX power amplifiers.

Its amplifier architecture combines a heavy-duty linear power supply with a high-current, short signal path Class A/B output stage. This traditional amplifier design is paired with microprocessor-controlled monitoring and protection circuitry, helping the A2L+ deliver consistent performance while protecting the amplifier and connected loudspeakers from common fault conditions.

The A2L+ is particularly flexible for multi-zone audio systems. Each channel features an unbalanced RCA input together with an RCA pass-through output, allowing multiple A2L+ amplifiers to be daisy-chained from the same source. Adjustable gain reduction also makes it easier to balance volume levels between separate stereo zones, making the amplifier suitable for whole-home and custom-installed audio systems as well as conventional two-channel listening.

Audiophile-grade five-way binding posts accommodate banana plugs, spade connectors and bare speaker wire, while 12V trigger input and output connections allow the amplifier to power on and off alongside compatible preamplifiers, processors and control systems. Combining compact dimensions with useful installation features and proven Class A/B amplification, the Emotiva BasX A2L+ is a versatile solution for stereo and multi-zone amplification.
