Arcam A5+ Integrated Amplifier with Bluetooth & Auracast

The ARCAM A5+ is a premium Class AB integrated stereo amplifier designed for high-quality HiFi systems, combining traditional analogue amplification with modern digital and wireless connectivity. Delivering 50W per channel into 8 Ohms, the A5+ provides clean, controlled power for a wide range of passive loudspeakers while retaining the musical presentation that ARCAM's integrated amplifiers are known for.

An enhanced power supply design builds on the original Radia A5, while an ESS ES9018 DAC handles high-resolution digital sources at up to 24-bit/192kHz. Multiple analogue and digital inputs make the A5+ suitable for everything from CD players and streamers to TVs and other digital sources, while a carefully tuned Moving Magnet phono stage allows a compatible turntable to be connected directly without requiring a separate phono preamplifier.

Wireless connectivity is a major upgrade on the A5+. Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound supports SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD and aptX Lossless, allowing compatible devices to transmit high-quality audio wirelessly. The amplifier also supports Bluetooth transmission, enabling music to be sent to compatible wireless headphones, while Auracast allows audio to be shared with multiple compatible headphones or speakers without conventional Bluetooth pairing.

Finished in ARCAM's contemporary Radia design, the A5+ features aluminium front, top, side and rear panels alongside solid aluminium control dials. With dedicated wired headphone output, wireless headphone support, high-resolution digital inputs and vinyl playback in a compact chassis, the ARCAM A5+ is an excellent foundation for a modern two-channel HiFi system.
